We had an excellent tour with James. He met us promptly at Gracious Bakery and walked us through the Garden District. It was a very entertaining two hours with lots of stories about past and present residents as well as commentary about the history of New Orleans and the architecture of the District. Although the Lafayette Cemetery is closed to visitors, we spent a good amount of time at one of the side entrances where we could see in and James explained all about the cemeteries of New Orleans. Highly Recommend Lucky Beans tours for the Garden District.

The meeting point was perfect. We arrived early and had breakfast. Our guide James was right on time and provided an excellent tour! It was a perfect day and we really enjoyed seeing the beautiful homes and gardens. James brought some visual aids which were helpful and provided many interesting facts. I’ve already recommended this tour to friends.

Renee was the best! She's a Creole herself and was SO knowledgeable. She made the history of the area interesting. Her personal connections to the people in the area allowed her to share real-time stories. If you want to visit the Garden District, Renee's your guide!
