Full description
You will be guided south along the Wild Atlantic Way and into the lunar-like Burren region. From there you'll head to the picturesque fishing village of Doolin where you’ll board the ferry to Inisheer (Inis Oirr) – the smallest and most vibrant of the Aran Islands. Explore Inisheer, home to ancient churches and castles, one of the Irelands most beautiful beaches, lighthouses, shipwrecks, and several cafes and pubs. You can take a pony and carriage, hire a bicycle or stroll the country roads. On your guided return journey, cruise alongside the foot of the Cliffs of Moher, a spectacular journey which puts the 214m high, 8km long cliffs into perspective. After returning to Doolin you will be able to pause for a hearty lunch before embarking on the next leg of the tour – to the top of the cliffs! You will receive free entry to the cliffs and the eco-sensitive visitor center. Take a stroll along the cliff edge and consider how tiny everything looks from above! Once you depart the cliffs you will take the coast road home, following the Wild Atlantic Way before one last stop at the stunning Baby Cliffs in Ballyreen where you can walk atop the Burren. Return time in Galway is approx. 7:30 PM.

I was very fortunate to be gifted with having Richie as my guide, for the second time. The tour was phenomenal and we throughly enjoyed it. Richie made sure we got the most out of our day and it was well co-ordinated allowing for maximum time at each of our stops. We cant thank Richie enough for making our staycation that bit greater. Also, Saoirse is an absolute delight. Shes the coolest

    Absolutely a wonderful day.

Our driver John was great. I have arthritis, he made sure I was comfortable and had no problems with getting on or off the bus at all times. He sure made our day tour well worth taking. Great trip, loved the Aran Isles. This is a definite must do tour while visiting Ireland.

    Great tour, fun day

The day started out not so great (heavy rain), so: 1. the road to Doolin through Burren Way was beautiful, but I imagine on a clear day is better. 2. We had only 1 option of touring the island - by tractor, which was fine, but not what we would have preferred, but the guide was funny in sort of an aloof way. As we returned to mainland the sky cleared up and the views of Cliffs of Moher from the boat and from above were spectacular. The bus driver/guide - PJ (daddy) was hilarious! Really made the rainy day shine (:
