      This tour was awesome.

We were picked up at our hotel by a lovely lady Grace who spoke excellent English and had excellent knowledge.Visited Blandys where we had a tour of the museum and tasted some excellent Madeira wines. Then went up into the hills to see the grapes and walked along a levada .The scenery was absolutely wonderful. We then made our way to a Madeira country house for lunch and of course more wine and relaxed with the group of lovely people we were with.Moved on to the north to a wine producer who had the most beautiful coastal garden.Tasted more wine and some more gorgeous food .Then onto the final wine producer where we just had to taste more wine and had a talk form the very engaging manager. All in all had a great day met lovely people drank lovely food and wine what's not to like.Highly recommend this tour was expensive but was worth it.

We had absolutely fantastic day on this tour! It wasn't anything like other wine tours we have had. Very authentic atmosphere and the views just absolutely stunning! We got to see the beautiful nature of the island and taste delicious wines. The lunch was great and the feeling visiting their home was very intimate! We felt welcomed wherever we went! So, if you are hesitating, don't! This tour will make you everlasting memories! Worth every cent!

A trip that you think you can’t buy for money.

To our tour guide Sophia: THANK YOU! That day was one of a kind. You gave us insights in things that were all new to us. And we’re well travelled when it comes to Madeira. The stories, the personal touch, the passion for your home island you shared with us. This is so rare to find. The local wines (Madeira wine and Madeiran wine alike) were excellent. Now, the best and most overwhelming thing was the lunch in the private house. Not only that the dish (a most excellent and very local stew) was breathtakingly good. It was so personal, private and exclusive that we never thought we could experience. And we’re no strangers to the top and exclusive restaurants of this world, if I may add. It was a real private beautiful home. Where would you experience something like that? I can’t thank you enough! We‘ll be back! Best, David & Lars.
