Full description
Join a half-day tour dedicated to flowers, one of the island's greatest treasures. Madeira offers a vast repertoire of gardens, that's why one of the island’s nicknames is the “Floating Garden of the Atlantic.” On a guided tour by a local, go to the Palheiro Gardens, a beautiful private garden that was owned by the Blandy family. After a healing walk in Palheiro Gardens, head next to the Hortensia Gardens where you can drink various teas, enjoy the delicious and famous apple pie, and marvel at a fabulous panoramic view over the city of Funchal.   Along the way, you’ll also visit two emblematic viewpoints of the island — São João Latrão and Terreiro da Luta — and discover the story of Our Lady of Peace.
