A great experience is an understatement. It was really good time which surprised us as it was a last minute booking and was definitely worth it! A great birthday treat activity. Our guide/instructor was flawless, he allowed us to have a really fun enjoyable time whilst feeling safe along the way. Also it would be wrong to not mention my hat that blew off my head haha… but as the instructor promised we found it on the way back. Honesty it is a must do.

Great guide Marcio took us on a brilliant off road tour of the island. This was a fantastic way to see the amazing peaks of Madeira as well as enjoying an off road buggy experience. Make sure you bring layers as it does get cold at the top but they also provided us with Goggles and waterproof clothing which was perfect. Highly recommend this trip.

The excursion was top notch. Picked up punctually from the hotel in Funchal, the bus took about 20 minutes to the starting point further up in Funchal. Once there, it started after a few minutes. First we drove along the road until we reached the entrance to the forest. From here the fun really started. Over hill and dale and through Fützen we drove up and down steep climbs. On very steep climbs, you had to turn on 4x4. We made a stopover at a Café Bar Fontes in a small village. From there we drove even further up to the Pico da Cruz. There were great views of the area in between. A few stops for photos were also made. The guide had been very nice and addressed many interesting topics. I can only recommend the tour.
