Why are you even looking at other alternatives? Stop! Simply book any tours from Lucy and Tony! Be aware: I'm a person who usually hates tour guides, and I did not know them before, but I have fallen in love with both Tony and Lucy (who would not fall in love with them??). What is unique about them is their authenticity, their unique routes, the tailoring of the trips to your wishes and needs, the fun and joy, the time for yourself, the professionality... in sum : their uniqueness is the secret of Madeira, and that just happens to be their business name : Secret Madeira!
We had a beautiful and unforgettable experience. Hugo was our guide and he is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He is also an excellent driver which is required for this trip as you go off-road. He speaks perfect English and went above and beyond to make our day pleasant. Due to COVID there was only us booked in the tour and he didn’t cancel which is a great customer service. I would definitely recommend this.
Amazing experience! Really loved it! Especially our guide, Nelson, was the best, with so much detailed knowledge about the island, the history, every plant and fruit we passed by. He made sure we had an amazing time, crazy off-road, the island, the lunch place (12€ per Person, but BEST value for money), amazing viewpoints, and more. I highly recommend the tour with him! Simply AMAZING!
Honestly Tony was fantastic from start to finish. Incredibly passionate about Madeira and knowledgeable about pretty much everything you could want to know. His English was superb and the day was incredible from start to finish and unbeatable value. Had two hours for lunch and a swim at Porto Moniz and more than a dozen stops along the way. Brilliant and I really don’t like tours!
A great day out where we explored the west of the island with Lucy, the best tour guide ever. She told us about the fauna of the island, the traditions and much more. Lots of stop offs to take pictures, refreshand of course swim in the natural pools.
