What people are saying about Franz Josef Town

Overall rating

4.7 / 5

Transportation was provided. The guide took us off the main trail on to a private trail to explain all about the birds and the flora that we were walking thru. The guide talked almost continually pointing out various things. When we got to the view point to look at the glacier she told us things about the glacier and its history. If you didn't have a guide you would just walk up to the view point spend 5 minutes looking at a few signs, the glacier and leave. There is more to the area than that. The 3 hours we spent on the tour did not seem long.

The staff in the office were fantastic the crew were really friendly, considerate and helpful and made our experience unforgettable…we thoroughly recommend this family owned and operated business to anyone as they won’t be disappointed. Greg and Holly (Sydney)

Our Guide, Sophie, was fantastic and had great knowledge of the area and she shared it well. We could have spent hours just going through the rocks on the waters edge.

Fantastic tour, our pilot was informative. The flight was spectacular and the landing really great. We were only four passengers leaving amazing views for everybody.

The pilot changed flight path to optimize our experience.
