Start your tour with pick up from your hotel before heading to Iguazu Falls, located 24 kilometers from downtown Foz do Iguaçu. After passing through the visitors’ center, continue your tour to the magnificent Iguazu Falls. Take a 1-kilometer walk and marvel at the surrounding beauty. This walk offers you an amazing panoramic view of the falls and an up-close view of the Devil’s Throat Waterfall. Start the tour with pick up from your hotel in Foz do Iguaçu. Travel for 5-km to the Puerto Macuco forest base on the Argentinian side of the Iguazu National Park. Get picked up from your hotel in Foz do Iguaçu and drive to Echaporã Port. There, embark on a boat journey on the Kattamaram II, a safe and comfortable boat with A/C, a full bar, and kitchen. Meet your guide at your hotel and head to the Itaipu Hydroelectric Dam, 20 minutes from Foz do Iguaçu and a world leader in clean and replaceable energy production. Itaipu is located in the middle of Brazil and Paraguay, so you’ll visit both countries on this tour. Your tour begins with a 10-minute video at the Visitor Center, which tells the history of the construction of the dam. The guided tour continues by bus outside of the reservoir with three stops to allow you to appreciate its panoramic views. After being picked up from your hotel, arrive at the Itaipu Dam Visitor Center. Watch a 10-minute introductory video in the cinema room which explains how the dam was constructed. Learn about how the Itaipu Dam extends for 7,719 meters across and 196 meters in height and is a world leader in renewable energy production.  Continue the tour with a ride in a double-decker bus along the perimeter of the reservoir, making 3 stops for you to admire the incredible panoramas. This route allows for privileged views of the spillway at the edge of the dam and gives you the chance to admire the beautiful natural scenery within the Itaipu Complex. The dam was constructed across the border of Brazil and Paraguay so during the tour, you will hop from one country to another.
