The entire Everglades area, including the park and Islands, is teeming with wildlife, especially manatees, dolphins, and birds. Marco Island is one of the largest islands and most westerly in this area. On this 2-hour tour, enjoy the comfort of the captain's style seating. Travel deep into the area’s 10,000 islands for an interpretive tour and shelling with a certified naturalist guide. Depending on the season, you can expect to see manatees, dolphins, sea turtles, bald eagles, ospreys, herons, egrets, pelicans, alligators, rosette spoonbills and numerous species of fish and shorebirds. Not only will you be introduced to the great birding and wildlife, but you’ll also learn about the Everglades eco-systems, rich heritage, and long history. Each outing is limited to 6 participants, so you can expect an intimate experience in the wilderness. The area's wildlife moves around so each tour is different. The boat ride was a great way to get out on the water and see a bit more of the area and mangroves. My boys, ages 17 and 19, couldn't believe how much fun the had "shelling" and wondered why we had never done it before! Overall a fun time to have the family together and learn about the area.

Absolutely amazing trip, with a great captain!

We had an amazing trip, dolphins swimming alongside the boat, beautiful beaches and a couple of great stop offs collecting shells and hearing about the area from the captain, what an absolutely lovely guy, I would highly recommend this trip, if you are looking to see dolphins, birds and amazing views, and are keen to know more about the area, definitely book this trip.

When the dolphins decide - we loved it

Wonderful 2 hours. Captain Ed made our trip memorable. Saw more dolphins than we dreamed about, even a baby that accompanied the boat next to her mother. Ed showed respect for the animals and it is important to us. We do not usually do this kind of activities. Want to know that the animals appreciate it. Ed explained that he did not force the animals to anything and so it was. We met a big motorboat trying to force the dolphins. But Ed did some maneuvers that ended it. Then we felt happiness. All glory to Ed. And a great gift for my husbands 50th birthday.
