Planning Your Visit

  • When should I go?

Florida is one of the southernmost American states, so it will be warm throughout the year. If you are not a fan of hot and humid weather, it is best to avoid the peak summer months.

  • When do things open?

Generally, most attractions open around 9:00AM, but there will definitely be lines at the most popular ones. It may be worth your while to have an early start when going to Walt Disney World, for example.

  • What should I wear?

The most important thing is to keep yourself protected from the blazing sun - that means reapplying sunscreen, staying in the shade around midday, and drinking plenty of water to prevent dehydration.

Great crew- funny and kept the passengers engaged at all times. Boat was clean and comfortable. 45 minutes of speed and fun- slowing briefly to show us amazing homes Our hotel happened to be right next to the apocalypse jet boat tours- Our was WAY better, higher class operation- well worth the $6.70 more for each person.

Tour was overall very good. The bus driver was very nice, prompt and polite but we couldn't really hear all he was saying in the back. He should get a microphone for the tours-- I think it would really make a big difference.

I didn't expect this to be such an awesome tour. I 100% recommend it. Rip was so informative & kept us laughing the whole trip. 5 stars because of the atmosphere, the info we learned and most importantly because of Rip!

The fact that I have a fear of water, this was probably the most fun and wasn’t scared - not one bit. The host and driver were a lot of fun and made the experience that much better. It was worth the money.

The tour was amazing,  Carter our guide was professional, so knowledgeable and so nice!  The kayaks give us a full and close experience get to know the nature of the Everglades park. Thank you so much.
