Full description
Upon meeting with your fun and friendly guide, you will then kickstart the action by taking the priority entrance into the palace, making sure you waste no time waiting in line. The building, built at the end of the year 1200, holds a vast array of icons and items that belong to the Medici family.
Inside, you can visit the Halls of the Government of the Republic, the rooms of the Grand Ducal Family, the "Sala dei Gigli", the "Sala delle Mappe Geografiche" and the Sala of the last Chancellor of the Republic". Prepare yourself for the main attraction, the Salone dei 500, entirely frescoed by Giorgio Vasari.
