Full description
Spend a day getting to know the enchanting region of Cinque Terre. You'll visit 4 villages in total, suspended between sea and land, seemingly hanging from sheer cliffs and surrounded by hills and vineyards. When you arrive in the small village of Manarola there will be time to explore before taking the local train to Riomaggiore. Enjoy some free time here to walk around and admire the charming streets. Next, take a train to Monterosso, an ancient fishing village considered “the pearl of the Cinque Terre", with its enchanting beaches. Go swimming in the crystal-clear sea and enjoy a traditional light lunch. Continue by ferry to Riomaggiore and Vernazza and experience the intricate layout of this village with its narrow lanes and steep stairways. Continue to La Spezia, where the bus will be waiting to take you back to Florence.

Cinque Terre was simply mesmerizing. The guide on the way there was both driving and talking (not as loud), and was a bit harder to understand, but as the tour proceeded he showed up to be quite caring and respectful of the group pace and speed. Also quite friendly and never hesitated to explain anything at his reach. Really enjoyed it. Only part I didn't like was on the way back, had to climb the hill to the van by foot, under the heavy sun and sweating like crazy, but I understand that it was somewhat necessary.

It was a great tour despite the huge number of about 60 tourists. The 3 guides did an incredibly good job keeping everyone together and informed. We covered a lot of ground for one day so it's a good value tour if you want to see all the towns of Cinque Terra. Everyone was nice, respectful and on time for the meeting points. A truly good tour.

      Great day trip

With the good guidance of Anastasia this was a successful day trip. I do not normally like group activities as someone is always late and the rest stops. This group was fun and well guided by the bus trip, 2 train rides and 2 boat trips. Nice explanation about the villages. Spicy day, but has given a good impression of the villages. And the closure in Portovenere was totally worth it.
