Full description

Discover the stories and intrigues of one of the most famous Renaissance banker families on this guided tour of the Medici Chapel. Poisonings, betrayals, illegitimate children and legends will come to life thanks to your certified guide, who will accompany you throughout the experience and tell you many stories about the family's past. The Medici Chapel is the burial place of some of the greatest members of the Medici family, such as Lorenzo the Magnificent. You will visit the Chapel of the Princes and the Chapel of the New Sacristy, among others. You'll also be able to admire some unique works of art by Michelangelo.

Very interesting tour of the Medici Chapels. We loved seeing the Michaelangelo statues. Ricardo was very knowledgeable of Florence and the history of the Medici. Private tours are the way to go, especially with the skip the line feature. The guide can really give you the back story and explain what you are looking at.

Leonardo our guide was very instructive, he did his utmost to create parallels between history and current events. It allowed us to appreciate the political context of the time and took great care to point out other monuments worthy of relief from the xona.
