    Absolutely Amazing

I am not usually one to do tours when on vacation, I prefer a less crowded experience. With that being said I will definitely be returning to do this tour in the future. I had the pleasure of riding with Gilberto. The two of us rode from Florence through the hills of Tuscany to this absolutely darling winery just outside of Greve. From start to finish he offered a smooth ride that included photo opportunities and history of the surrounding area. Our first stop was Greve where we toured a butcher and cheese shop and walked around the famous meeting square of Florence and Siena. We then headed up into the hills to the winery where he explained the fermentation process of wine and how olive oil is made. The highlight was the homemade meal from the small winery. Cooked in what looks like my grandmothers kitchen by the wives of the farmers, there was more than enough to eat and plenty of wine. Gilberto was even kind enough to drop me close to my hotel.
