Full description
Unsure how to spend your visit in Florence? Food, art, or history? Why not all? A 3.5-hour walking tour is a delicious way to explore the city and to eat like a local. Meet your private guide at Florentine's favorite market with a welcome Schiacciata, a type of Tuscan pizza.
Stroll through the market, surrounded by fresh food, fruits, vegetables, and all sorts of goods. Then head to a small local deli, where you can try the popular street food Coccoli, a tasty fried pasta filled with cheese and ham. Proceed to Signoria Square and Palazzo Vecchio, where your guide will explain the significant history surrounding these areas while you sip on a glass of chianti and snack on the beloved Italian finger food plate: The Tagliere, a delicious selection of ham and cheese.
Passing the dome, reach the next and most famous market, San Lorenzo, where you’ll have a chance to taste truffles, crunchy almond biscuits, and juicy sweet wine, while taking in the bustling local spirit of the market. The last stop is, of course, for gelato — the desert of Grand Duke Cosimo De Medici.
