Upon arrival at Cinque Terre, transfer to the public train and travel up the coast for breathtaking views of the villages. Cruise into Poets’ Gulf, dominated by green hills, clear waters, and vivid villages. Continue through Poets’ Gulf to Vernazza and Riomaggiore, one of the most stunning places on the west coast of Italy. Look at the little fishermen’s boats docked by the beach, and an old castle on the horizon. Enjoy some free time to explore the village on your own. Great excursion and guide from Citywonders!

The guide Matteo was great! He had extensive knowledge and told interesting anecdotes. Italian food is sacred to him and he advised us in every city where we could order the best pasta, ice cream ... Getting to know the Cinque Terre from the sea was magical and discovering two towns afterwards made the excursion complete. We can recommend this excursion to anyone who likes to go on a boat trip and goes exploring in charming towns. It is worth getting up early!

Hectic but enjoyable. Lots to cover

This was a hectic schedule but we saw a lot of places first by boat and then by train. We had enough time in each of the towns. Simone was great, full of knowledge and made us all feel at ease. Our group of 10 thoroughly enjoyed the Foccacia in Portovenere. I could go back just to eat that. A super recommendation by Simone. It was a fun and enjoyable day. We saw what we went to see

Trip to Cinque Terra

We took a tour to Cinque Terra from Florence with Simona of CityWonders. It was beyond our expectations! Simona went far beyond what you'd normally expect - she was very knowlegable about all details and very personable. The bus was modern and had excellent air conditioning [which is rare during the recent hot spell in Italy]. Everything was kept on a tight schedule and it was Euros well spent! Kathy and John, Virginia, USA 7/21/18
