A long but really great day. Received more than what was advertised for this trip. Our tour guide. Yalcin, was awesome. Funny and educated in his history & geography. He had all of us, different races, ages, home counties laughing and entertained on the 3+ hour ride each way. Our driver Chiat was also very nice and helpful. Pamukkale was absolutely beautiful. Be very careful it can be slippery. Take caution signs seriously. The spring water was warm and soothing. We opted to swim in Cleopatra's pool. The hot mineral water felt so good and left my skin feeling and looking better. Hierapolis was incredible to see in person. It was very hot outside the day of our trip, 99 degrees. Be prepared with sun block or an umbrella. The archeological history is beyond measure. Keep track of time - 3 1/2 hours seems long but with clothes changes if doing Pamukkale & the pool first it's easy to lose time in Hierapolis.
