Full description

Take a multi-day trip through the Atlas Mountains to the Sahara desert departing from Fes. Admire the beautiful scenery, enjoy traditional Berber culture and cuisine, and visit a variety of charming villages across 3 days.

Drive through a cedar forest and see the resident monkeys, before descending to the Sahara Desert. Arrive at the traditional kasbah at the foot of the Erg Chebbi dunes. Enjoy the beauty of the sunset on a camel ride across the dunes. At the Berber camp, enjoy mint tea and dinner, gaze at the stars and spend the night in a tent. On the second day visit Merzouga, Tinghir and Ouarzazate. Head out on the rugged Road of a Thousand Kasbahs along the ancient caravan route. This area has been a popular location for Hollywood films, such as The Last Temptation of Christ and Jewel of the Nile. Stop for lunch and a walk in Todgha Gorges and then travel through the Dadès Valley past dramatic escarpments. Dinner and overnight at a hotel in the Gorges or in Ouarzazate. On the third day, visit the town of Ouarzazate, including the Kasbah of Taourirt and the Atlas Studios – the largest and most famous movie studios in Africa.

An epic experience, one we will never forget. Our tour driver, Abdul, ensured we had everything we needed. The movie studios, camel riding, glamping and visits to local towns and markets were amazing! I've never had so much fun in 3 days. You absolutely must book this if you visit Morocco. We took the train back to Fez after using the train company website, they are regular and excellent. Would recommend taking travel sickness pills if you do suffer as there's lots of driving on this trip. The camping is more like glamping as there's beds and bathrooms in the tents. Take cash to tip the guides as they are brilliant. We loved every moment of this trip and were well looked after. Book it!!

What an amazing experience! Our guide Hachim was incredible! As a history graduate he could really provide details to go beyond simple answers to questions. The desert camp was amazing and the sunset camel tour was a bucket list item. As an extra touch, the tour company realized that it was my wife’s birthday and prepared a cake for her! I would never hesitate to use this company again!

Professional guides. Incredible tent stay in the dessert. Unforgettable memories on the sand dunes and with the camels. It would be a pity to leave Morocco without going on this trip. Also, there are many offers for going to the desert, but this one is worth the money. It was awesome.
