3. From Faro: Dolphin-Watching & Wildlife

Discover the wildlife in Faro's waters on a dolphin-watching cruise aboard a speedboat. Have the opportunity to see dolphins, birds, and, if you're lucky, turtles and small sharks. Learn about the marine animals with the onboard marine biologist. After making your own way to the meeting point, board the boat and cruise through the Rio Formosa Natural Park. Admire the landscape of winding waterways as you make your way to Cape Santa Maria, where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Rio Formosa river. The boat tour was great, pretty fast and fun! We also saw dolphins and the guide was nice. However, it wasn't in German, even though we booked the German-speaking trip - the only one offered! That wasn't so great for our child, but then we translated. The guide's English was easy to understand! You could probably have received a German explanation by means of an app….

It was very nice, thank you for the wonderful tour and the beautiful impressions. Unfortunately, we didn't see any dolphins, but since they are wild animals, you can't influence this of course. It was still a wonderful tour!

Beautiful private boat tour through the waters of Ria Formosa. Nice guide who told a lot about the area. Mind you, with this boat you cannot go through the narrow waterways of the nature reserve, only accessible by kayak.

Fantastic experience we chose the speed boat very comfortable had a great tour guide speaking many different languages got to see the dolphins went early 10am also visited benagail cave. I would highly recommend

We had to search for a while, but in the end we saw a lot of dolphins!
