João was an amazing guide! He speaks excellent English and knew so much about the area and how agricultural plays such an important part of the Alentejo. The stop at the pottery shop was amazing and so cool to see the traditional process. Monsaraz was incredible. The views and the village were unforgettable! The wine tasting was a nice finale and the scenery to and from Evora was great. João is a very engaging person and knows his stuff! Would definitely do it again with visitors!
We walked through the cork forest with Andrew, who was very informative about all things to do with cork, as well as his family's history. We then had a fabulous wine tasting and finished off the experience with an amazing 3 course lunch at a local restaurant (the chef was so nice and the food absolutely delicious).
Enjoyed the walk through forest to top of hill with great view of acreage! Drinking from natural well memory to keep! Cork trees are amazing trees
Communication with all somewhat uncertain, had difficulty with the hosts trying to contact them for confirmation of details.
