We bought a two day, 4 route ticket and managed to complete all four circuits over the two days. It was certainly a good way to see a lot of Lisbon and some nearby towns along the coast. Busses were pretty regular and not overcrowded and the on-ground staff were very friendly and helful. Only criticism really was the terrible quality headphones they supplied (audio quality very poor and distorted) - so for the best results, bring your own.
We thoroughly enjoyed the hop on hop off experience in Lisbon. We did this the day after a private small group tour in Lisbon, as the opportunity to go back and see things we enjoyed in greater detail. The buses were clean, all worked well and they were on time. We regularly use these buses in cities across the world. Happy to endorse our experience in Lisbon and recommend. We had perfect weather.
The only good thing is that you jave the chance to see a lot in less time that any other eay. I bought ticket for 3 buses but find the time to use it for Cascais. In the winter it's difficult, since there are only 2 routes the day. And the stops should be more recognised. Example:at Belem there wasn't any sign for the bus stop. They should fix the plugs, lots of them weren't working.
Make sure you go and collect the tickets from a pick up point - this is in the very fine print but you cannot just show the voucher. And don’t take the blue line - not so interesting! Red and green lines were both very good.
The bus tour was great and easy to use. The only issue was that Get your Guide booked the wrong tour for us... However we made the most of the tour we ended up on.
