De Off-road Safari naar Poroy was een van de hoogtepunten van mijn verblijf. Scheurend en stuiterend in een 4x4 door het ruige terrein gaf een geweldige adrenalineboost. Het waterpistoolgevecht met andere 4x4's zorgde voor veel plezier. De pauze waarin je kon boogschieten, huifkar rijden of gewoon ontspannen, was een leuke afwisseling. Het eten was eenvoudig maar lekker. Trek zeker niet je beste kleren aan, want je wordt gegarandeerd nat en stoffig tijdens deze avontuurlijke rit!
For an adventure into the Balkan mountains surrounding Sunny Beach, look no further than this extreme off-road tour in the countryside. You'll journey to the village of Poroy to enjoy panoramic views over the landscape, try some local dishes and take in a host of interesting places along the way.
After a quick safety talk and information on the route ahead, you'll set off in a 4x4. We'll drive along off-road tracks passing through rivers, villages and panoramic viewpoints over Sunny Beach and Nessebar before a pause in the action for a refreshing drink and a few fun games to take part in, as well as a short ride in a horse-drawn carriage.
Following a route along picturesque mountain roads, we'll pitstop in Medovo for a pottery demonstration, before rumbling all the way to the village of Poroy. Here you'll stop for a well-earned lunch of traditional Bulgarian dishes and roasted bacon on a spit before rounding off with a honey tasting session.
