Busselton Jetty 83 opiniones

One of the most popular tourist attractions and photographed icons in Western Australia! Enjoy breathtaking views above and below the ocean from the Busselton Jetty – the longest wooden-piled Jetty in the Southern Hemisphere. Spanning over 1.8km, the Jetty is home to one of only five Underwater Observatories in the world. Ride the new electric Jetty Train down the length of the Jetty, with 360 degree views across Geographe Bay and take a tour through the Underwater Observatory at the end. Our experienced guides lead you through the natural wonders that lie beneath the Jetty where its piles create Australia’s greatest artificial reef, host to an awe inspiring forest of vividly coloured tropical and sub-tropical corals, sponges, fish and invertebrates. Descend 8 metres beneath the water’s surface to view more than 300 individual marine species in their natural habitat through eleven viewing windows at various levels within a 9.5 metre diameter observation chamber. Ride the train back to shore to our Interpretive Centre, Museum and Gift Shop to learn more about the colourful history of the Jetty. Only 2.5 hours drive south of Perth, in the popular seaside town of Busselton the 153 year old heritage listed Jetty has survived fires, a cyclone, storms and demolition plans to become one of the most recognised landmarks in Western Australia.
