What people are saying about York
The minibus was a bit early, so we made a good start, first stop was Helmsley where we had about 40 minutes, just time to have a good look round and buy some Curd tarts (which we both love!), then on to Whitby with a photo stop on the moors. Fish & Chips and Ice cream lunch and some photos of the harbour. The on to Goathland for the Steam train and a look round the Heartbeat sites. On to Pickering by Steam train and then back to York with a short photo stop at an old ruined Abbey. Back by 5.00pm - great value day.
Really enjoyed this brief excursion on the River Ouse. Made even better by a spell of warm weather, seeing the guards in the park doing the gun salute, and an informative and eloquent guide named Keith! A fun way to find hour a bit more about York.
Great fun for the family. We each had a turn to drive. The weather helped. The attendant explained the policy efficiently and he was very pleasant. The online booking was easy - I think you might need to highlight better that you need to select 10am, or 11am. I would highly recommend. THANK YOU.
We had a perfect day in York with Cecil. He was showing us many nice places in York and gave a lot of tips where to go. We strongly recommend York Cycling Tours :-)
A very enjoyable trip. Staff were friendly and professional. Meal was delicious. Would definitely recommend this.
