Winchester has some amazing pubs just waiting to be discovered. From the 17th century coaching inns, to back-street boozers, to modern Gastropubs, and friendly locals, this city has the lot. Whether you love beer, gin, or anything in between, you will be sure to find something to quench your thirst.

With the city being so easy to navigate by foot, this is the best way to discover it's pubs. You will visit 4 traditional pubs, popular with both locals and tourists, where you can relax and enjoy a drink of your choice.

Discover Winchester's amazing pub history, at one point there were 132 pubs, as well as 5 breweries. The walk takes you past some of these old pub location, as well as part of the River Itchen, which provides views across Winchester College and the playing fields.
