Minke, Porpoise, Hump back and White beaked Dolphins!

Massive thanks for this awesome tour, completely blew my expectations out of the water, (no pun intended) :) excellent guidance from the Marine biologist Jonathan. We not only saw White beaked dolphins, Harbour Porpoises and a minke whales we where gifted with a very rare sighting of a Humpback Whale close to land. Obviously you are always relying on Mother Nature for a tour like this... but the Ship was In great condition, very comfy and they even provide warm overalls which wt a real lifesaver. +motion sickness tablets for anyon with potentially wobbly sea legs!

Fun, interesting and beautiful first night in Reykjavic.

We had perfect Icelandic August weather (55F, clear skies and windy) and a relatively small group of people on the large three story boat. The optional wind proof suits did a good job of cutting the wind and keeping us comfortable. Our guide kept us all in the game of hunting for the glimpse of humpbacks and minke whales. Very knowledgable about the whales and Iceland. Bar drinks and musician on board plus absolutely beautiful views of the late setting sun and Reykjavík harbor made it a great first night on Reykjavík.

Faster TO the Whales is definitely Better!

I've only been on two whale watching tours. But this boat - BIG so steady - but FAST so not wasting time getting to the whales, made al the difference. Options for everybody - inside, outside, top, front, back! They had warm waterproof gear for everyone too, but even with various size options they were bulky. I had brought my own snow board pants and a winter coat, which worked really well for me.

Minimal sightings and those we had I didn't personally spot them.

Disappointed to have not seen anything myself, but I have no complaints with the company or staff. There were several spots by the guide of one or maybe two minke whales, sadly apart from one very brief glimpse I didn't manage to spot myself. Some you win, some you lose. But the boat trip itself was still a great experience and the staff and guide were excellent and very informative.

The tour was fabulous and Special Tours are a friendly, efficient and

This was brilliant for me in a wheelchair. There was a ramp onto the boat and another to allow me to view the wildlife. The tour guide and captain tried to ensure they got everything on the side of the ship I could see so I saw a whale, dolphins and puffins and it was a real highlight of our holiday
