What people are saying about Washington, DC

Great way to see all the major monuments/Memorials

It was a very humid hot day, but our slow d the pace and gave plenty of options to rest. The tour was informative. The only drawback was having to wait so long for lunch. You go to a restaurant, stand around to order Then get back on bus to get to cruise departure. This was a waste of time. There is an option to preorder you food online, which we did, but it made no difference. Still had to get through all the motions. Other than is “glitch” the tour was great. Enjoyed spending the day with Nick

Get away from the usual tourists attractions!

This tour gives great insights into the vibrant U Street corridor with its historical attractions like the Howard Theater, Ben's Chili Bowl, etc. The food stops are diverse...and even if you don't like the food on every stop it is worth it to understand the neighborhood's character and diversity. The Civil War monument, along with an impressive and knowledgeable young man in period clothing was a highlight.

Best way to see the best of DC in 8 hours!

This tour was well worth the money! Our tour guide, Chris, was very knowledgeable about DC and American history and made the tour a fun experience. Be prepared to do a lot of walking and stair climbing, but SO worth it! The lunch was excellent and the boat ride on the Potomac was a real treat. Highly recommend this tour.

Overall tour was decent and our guide was good.

we arrived at 8:15 as directed. Your ad makes you think you get to skip all the lines but that's not the case so you should say so. We waited over an hour to get into the Visitors center. Then we waited another 90 minutes for your staff to get our tickets. We were told there was a processing issue at the Capitol and that our tickets would be forthcoming. After an hour wait, our guide started to show us some of the displays in the Visitors area and then our tickets became available. We were only able to see two rooms in the Capitol. It was not as extensive or in depth as your Tour ads make them appear to be. Our guide, Nick, did a great job managing the group and delays we experienced. Boat Tour/Lunch was ok. Bus tour of the monuments was ok. A little rushed but still good. dropped us off at the Archives which is where the tour ended.

It was good but much longer than advertised.

It was a very thorough and good tour but much too long. It said it was supposed to be 2.5 hours and ended up being 4 hours. That was too long.
