What people are saying about Washington, DC

Wonderful bike ride with spectacular scenery ending at Mount Vernon.

From the beautiful, historic town of Alexandria, following level terrain along the Potomac river with some wooded sections with modest hills. This was a ride that we were able to do, even though my wife and I are aged 70, with histories of knee and hip surgeries, and our granddaughters ages 8 and 12. Ending with a tour of the home of George Washington and visit to the tomb of the first President and his wife. At the tomb, because of my military service, I was asked to read Washington's prayer to the nation and lead the visitors in the Pledge of Allegiance. Our granddaughters were asked to lay a wreath. Finally, slow boat ride back to Alexandria within steps of our car. A fantastic trip.

Great way to see all the major monuments/Memorials

It was a very humid hot day, but our slow d the pace and gave plenty of options to rest. The tour was informative. The only drawback was having to wait so long for lunch. You go to a restaurant, stand around to order Then get back on bus to get to cruise departure. This was a waste of time. There is an option to preorder you food online, which we did, but it made no difference. Still had to get through all the motions. Other than is “glitch” the tour was great. Enjoyed spending the day with Nick

Outstanding, fun way to see so many landmarks up close in a short time

Our guide “Nugget” is very well informed and went out of her way to make she we saw all that was important to us. She clearly watched out for our safety. We had a blast on the Segways and cannot think of a more fun, efficient way to see and learn about so many historical places. We had limited time and this fit our schedule perfectly. THANK YOU for rounding out our trip with a very patriotic experience. I was with one of my adult children and her boyfriend and we made unforgettable memories.

We loved every part of it and, Joey, our guide was simply fantastic!

Seeing the memorials at night was breath-taking! Our guide, Joey, made it so interesting and answered all our questions and then some. No one should miss seeing these sites when visiting D.C. We were on a bus with 34 people and were given some free time with a timeline. Since it was pretty cold, we kept the pace moving. Joey gave us great background info to help us appreciate everything we were seeing or about to see. It was a night I will never forget! Thank you!!
