Full description
Be taken back in time to World War II and see the history of Majdanek Nazi concentration camp. This tragic place was in operation between 1941 and 1944, and now is a monument and memorial to all the people who were interned there. The site now stands as a moving lesson about the Holocaust and the horrors of the Nazi regime, and to the dark times of WWII. Visiting Majdanek will leave you reflecting about human history. Your professional guide will take you into the most interesting parts of the Majdanek site, and tell you everything you want to know about its history. Your tour is private, so it’s you who decides where you want to go. Pay your respects and have a moment with your thoughts while visiting such a meaningful place. At the end of the Majdanek tour, see the highlights of Lublin. Far back in history Lublin played an important role as an administrative, trade, and military centre in the Polish kingdom. The trip is highly recommended.

Our guide was at the hotel reception on time and we were able to drive straight away. What surprised us was the journey time of three hours, because the description of the time was shown shorter (it was probably already expected that the motorway would be completed, but at that point it was not yet that far). Also in the guide's private car, 3 adults did not have enough space in the rear of the car, since the trip took three hours there and back three hours. The seat is not sufficient for such a long journey. Our guide drove us very safely and gave a lot of information in perfect German on the way. Our questions were answered patiently and we learned a lot about Majdanek and Lubin. We were also able to take a short break on the journey. Our nice guide also gave us tips for Warsaw on the way and dropped us off in a beautiful park on the way back ... thank you very much.
