What people are saying about Vienna

Despite the rain, we had a fantastic day.

The trip was very enjoyable. We got off at Dürnstein which is a lovely town and we climbed up to very interesting ruins of a castle where Richard the Lionhart was once held captive. The ruins offered us beautiful views of the Danube and town below. We were served non stop food on the cruise which was very good. I enjoyed the experience of going thru the 2 locks and the scenery along the way. The day was a little long for my granddaughter who is very active and 8 years old. It rained heavily so we were indoors most of the day. Myself, I really enjoyed the experience and would recommend it highly.

Great Value day trip with Good Food and service

This proved to be the High-spot of our trip to Venice. It well exceeded our expectations. Breakfast, Lunch and a 4 course evening meal and an afternoon serving of Strudel and an opportunity to experience Bratislava ! The boat is comfortable with good service and help-full staff. It is remarkable value for money and we would thoroughly recommend it. 2 points to note - its a long day 0830 - 2230 but well worth it. The only downside were the English directions to the boat- which are not very clear. You need to get to Nusdorf on the tram/bus and then look for the signs to the MS Kaiserin Elisabeth.

An interesting trip at a reasonable price

We purchased our tickets on-line almost a week before and on the day of the trip were at the gate an hour before departure. When the gate opened and were going to board the ship we were told that we need to have printed tickets. So we had to go to the ticket office (accessed via a flight of steps near the gate) and have these printed. Meanwhile we ended up at the end of the line. This shld have been notified to us in one of the emails sent prior to the event so that we wld have them ready. Otherwise the trip was well organised and we recommend it.

A brilliant day, marvellous food, accompanied in the evening with a musician. As English speakers with limited German we were a bit worried that we wouldn’t get the most out of a German speaking tour, but they translated some of the descriptions into English and we were able to book ahead for an English tour in Bratislava when on the boat. We met a lovely Austrian couple who spoke good English too and so spent the day chatting with them too. Would thoroughly recommend this trip

A fun and interesting way to experience Vienna

This game was a lot of fun and took us to some really interesting places that we would not normally have found ourselves. It was good to see historical Vienna and find out about the devastating plague. It was a perfect conclusion to our brief 2 day tour of Vienna.
