    Full description
    The professional chef is Carolyn, an American married to a Venetian, who has lived in Italy for over 20 years, and has won numerous awards for her Venetian cooking. She will welcome you with a glass of prosecco to sip with "cicheti" (Venetian finger food). During the class, you will learn how to to make traditional Venetian dishes. You will learn how to create hand-made fresh pasta, following the traditional Italian style of pasta-making, filled with seasonal vegetables, meat, or both. You will also learn to make lovely, delicate Italian cookies, and a decadent Venetian creamy dessert. Your lesson ends enjoyably at the table (in the warm months it will be on the panoramic terrace, weather permitting). You will sit and taste your delicious creations, chatting over a nice glass of regional wine with Carolyn and any other lesson participants.

    Meeting point

    The square of Campo Santa Margherita, in the center of historic Venice. When you arrive in Campo Santa Margherita, you will see a brown building in the middle of the square, next to which there is a monument with a red flag pole (rarely with a flag). Carolyn will meet you there, with a “Cooking Class” sign to take you up to her kitchen.

    Take the class. Stop thinking about it and do it. Awesome History, great food, laughter, learning how to prepare pasta through the hisrory of Mt. Vesuvius. Hands on. Time well spent with a local. How often do you travel and spend time in the home of a local resident? Wbat about cooking in their kitchen? Exactly.

    A wonderful experience for teen grand daughter & me. We made delicious pasta by hand & 3 sauces. Can't wait to prepare the YUMMY mars spine & cookie dessert when I get home. This is a winner! Carol, our instructor, was very gracious as she shared recipes, hands on cooking techniques, & Venetian survival tips. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    Carolyn provided a wonderful personal experience!

    We enjoyed our time with Carolyn. She was punctual for our meeting. Her kitchen was clean. She provided recipes and allowed us to be hands on and participate in the food prep. I feel confident from her teaching that I can replicate the recipes in my home. Carolyn also shared some well learned lessons from her own experience as a chef. She also shared some Italian background info for us. Would definitely recommend this experience.
