Enjoy the 30-minute panoramic boat ride, from which you can take marvelous pictures to Venice and the lagoon, as you journey towards Murano. Murano is world famous for its glassmaking art. Discover how these unique glass products are made in a furnace, and get the opportunity to buy a piece on site.

Continue towards Burano, known for its lacemaking traditions and brightly colored fishermen's houses. Disembark the boat to take a short stroll to the main square and admire the Church of San Martino with its “Crucifixion” painting by Tiepolo. Get the chance to learn more about the history of lace at the Museo del Merletto. Alternatively, wander the tiny streets and picturesque canals to purchase lace products at your own pace.

Arrive on Burano in time for lunch, eating at a picturesque location with a relaxing atmosphere. Opt to go into a pastry store to try some of the local sweets, such as the typical cookies of bussolà and essi, unique to the island.

Quick turn, but sufficient. We left on time from S. Lucia, we made a panoramic tour of the lagoon with commentary from the guide. First quick stop in Murano, we witnessed the processing of a plate and a horse of a very good glass master. Second stop in Burano, a little longer. The tour lasts 4.5 hours and is perfect for those who have little time and want to see as many things as possible here in Venice. The guide Giada, if I'm not mistaken, very nice and cultured. Always available.

Great trip at a fair price

When booking, I made sure to get a German explanation. Unfortunately, it was so bad that we didn't understand a word. Maybe you should just play the different languages off the tape, where they are spoken correctly in the respective language beforehand. Everything else was very good and can only be recommended.

beautiful places to visit outside of the city, murano glass blowing demonstration was excellent, and the tranquillity of burano and it's beautifully painted houses was lovely this time of year. I can see, however, what others wrote about, in that there are very few locals walking around burano, so it can feel a little odd with only tourists walking around taking photos. but definitely worth the time to visit. the guide was okay, little bits of info during each boat stint, although as much as you could expect when they are saying it in 5 languages. Would recommend this trip!
