What people are saying about V&A Waterfront

It was an emotional, but remarkable tour MUST SEE!

The ferry made me motion sick it was rocking back and forth a lot so if you have motion sickness it’s recikkended you take pills. When we arrived at the island the 1st part of the tour was ok a bus where they stopped and explained buildings within the camp. I couldn’t get good pictures due tothe windows and other passengers on the bus. The best part of the tour was getting the story told from someone who was actually a prisoner on the island. It was very heart felt. He was an open book and although his story is sad he did not make you pity him because he made it clear that he has forgiven those who oppressed him and he just wants to make sure the story is told correctly. He did an outstanding job holding the crowd attention but also being personable I would strongly recommend this tour

Fascinating, sobering, saddening, optimistic experience

I remember the dreadful days of apartheid and reading about the sentences given to brave people who fought for basic civil rights in their own homeland. I’m proud that an Australian Prime Minister, Bob Hawke, was instrumental in the embargoes that helped finally break this hideous regime. Mandela was but one of the heroic souls who endured and the wives and children knew tremendous suffering too. A sobering, saddening but ultimately inspiring experience.

An incredible experience and one definitely worth doing again.

What an amazing trip. The atmosphere was super. Friendly guests and crew paired with great music and a breathtaking setting made for one, very, charming experience you can't forget. Johnny, Liam and Caleb are clearly passionate in what they do. They set everyone at ease with their quirky humor and hospitable natures. The view is humbling in it's exquisite glory. Definitely cannot fault the experience.

Cape Town: Waterfront and Sunset Champagne Cruise Reviewed by Lindsay, 02/08/2019

Magnificent! Such a good experience for a 40th!

It was an absolute perfect experience. We were so blessed with perfect weather! Catered for everyone: one could take part in the dancing inside or just enjoy the spectacular view outside. Cape Town is a beautiful city. Had lots of fun on the boat with Dutch guests as well. Safety briefing before was good. Our grandchildren or 7 and 9 enjoyed themselves as well. Thanks for a super experience.

Everything went well however very much over priced

Too expensive! Face value of the Robbenisland ticket is 360 Rand, approx. € 22,50. We paid €98,06 for 2 tickets. An uber ride from hotel to the ferry is about €4,00. So the real expences were €49,00. Shame on the broker. The Robbenisland tour was excellent! But that is not the broker doing that!
