What people are saying about Urquhart Castle

Relaxing, very comfortable, non stressful.

Please sharpen your act on the “hairy coooooos (cows)” there has to be better specimens in a far more natural setting. Found Urquhart Castle to be rather boring - but that’s my option, I had to work my imagination over time. My husbands review was “dig a hole and bury it!" Kevin was very entertaining driver, knew when to talk, or joke and when to play music, well done to him. We enjoyed the one hour lunch break, you can pack your own or there plenty of reasonably priced selections to chose from. Loved the stop for the summer house and bridge, likewise at Fort Augusta for the canal & locks. By the time we returned, we'd completed a full circuit of Loch Ness. A very enjoyable tour and I felt good value for money.

Our tour guide was incredible. She was so knowledgeable and nice.

My one suggestion would be that the stop in Loch Ness should have more options for people who don’t want to pay more than they already have for the overall tour. I was expecting to have a hike or a little town to walk around since my sister and I were on a tight budget and had already paid 70$ each for the tour. We also did not have cash so we didn’t know that the activities there had to be paid for in cash only. But overall our tour guide (Laura I think) was amazing and she was so nice and had so much information to give us. Beautiful views of the highlands and it was definitely worth the money.

Excellent trip which was very good value for money.

A full day's trip through beautiful Scottish scenery. Our guide Steve could not have been more friendly and helpful. We had the usual photo stops and a couple of surprise ones too.We met a herd of red deer and a couple of Highland cattle.Steve had brought food for them so we were able to feed them personally. All stops were adequate and one of the highlights was the boat trip on Loch Ness.A wonderful experience. Thanks Steve.

Glencoe was breathtaking Guide Charlie was excellent!

Amazing views of Glencoe even from the coach windows (big wide glass), just loved. Charlie was an experienced great guide, good voice with clear tone of voice, explains very well about history and geography of the area and at times very funny. I’ll take Charlie’s tour again, exactly the same (minus the food at the lunch break, it was poor and over priced) Thank you very much for the wonderful experience, Charlie!

Perfect one day tour of the Scottish highlands

Andrew was our driver and he did his best to make sure we had a great tour. My sister and I were able to see most of what we wanted. We had a few passengers who took longer at some of the stops which prevented Andrew from being able to let us make the additional spots that were planned; but he wanted to make sure we made it in time for the cruise of Loch Ness and/or the castle visit.
