Great way to see the city, but a smaller group would be better

Vienna is set up well for cyclists, so a bike tour is a great way to see a lot of the city in a short space of time. I did the morning slot, thank goodness, as it was such a hot day: by the end, it was getting a bit uncomfortable due to the heat: I think the afternoon would have been too hot. As a solo traveller on this trip, it was a nice way to meet new people. If I was travelling with friends or family, I would prefer a private tour if available, and here's why. The only issue I had, was that whilst the tour guide had really interesting stories and information to share, as you'd expect, with 8 other cyclists in the group, the noise of the city, and he was a bit quiet, it wasn't always possible to get close enough to the guide to hear what was being said. Good value for money though I believe.

Fun, interesting ride around central Vienna

This was a three hour ride around central Vienna. The guide stopped at many of the city's significant sites and gave us a great overview of historical Vienna and today's Vienna. Her explanations were both understandable and entertaining. The pace of the ride was easy, and the guide made sure that no one was left behind. Much of the ride was on dedicated bike lanes or where there was little car traffic, so there was never any feeling of being unsafe. It did rain while we were on the tour, but the guide had us take shelter in a little cafe on the Judenplatz where we had hot drinks. Luckily the rain subsided after about 15 minutes and we were on our way. My wife and I agree that this bike tour was a highlight of our time in Vienna.

Awesome staff! Excellent customer service!

Crew that works here are awesome ! Very pleasant, helpful and friendly to a traveller like me. I was supposed to go on a guided bike tour , however , I got a late confirmation through a third party booking site that the tour Has been cancelled. ( which is not their fault ) Anyways, Jeremy and the rest of the crew are very helpful in making sure that I would not waste my day and offered a self guided tour with maps and direction for free. I was late in returning my bike and ended up keeping it overnight at my hotel . I returned it the next morning and tried to pay it as rental but the guy refused . Excellent customer service! Would definitely recommend it!

Your bike tour should be mandatory for a visitor's first day in Vienna

Horst was an excellent guide. He was knowledgeable, charming and funny--can you beat that? Only change I would have made was to have the tour in the morning rather than the afternoon, but we visited a lttle after the high season and had to take what we could get.

If you're going with lunch is great, without it it's just boring

The route they choose it's not exciting, it's not circular, so you do the same line back and forward and you barely see anything, but the lunch was great and if you're just going to have lunch on a cruise then it's awesome.
