Full description
Leave the center of Rome in the early morning to begin your adventure to the center of Tuscany. In Florence, you'll to explore this beautiful city, which was the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance. Walk along the medieval streets and admire masterpieces of Italian architecture, including Brunelleschi's Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore.

You can't leave Florence without visiting one of the most famous art galleries in the world. At the Uffizi, you can admire numerous works of art by Botticelli, Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, Raffaello, Giotto, Cimabue, Masaccio, and many others. Among the exhibition halls of the gallery, the most renowned hall contains works by Botticelli, including Primavera and the Birth of Venus. The latter painting, the icon of the museum, represents the allegory of the birth of the goddess emerging from the sea. This symbolizes the ideal of beauty as an expression of purity and spiritual quality.

The museum is in the top floor of the building built by Giorgio Vasari to house the administrative offices of the Tuscan State. Throughout the years the collection was enriched by the members of the Medici family, who were great lovers of paintings, sculpture, and works of art.
