This helped reduce the amount of walking we had to do which was great since we had a 9-year-old and our legs were already tired. Friendly staff and the walking tours were a nice option even though we never took advantage of them. The "night tour" they tout features the same "audio" guide that they run during the day -- it's just essentially one final lap with no hopping on or off. If they went a different route and/or had different audio, it'd be great. Since the Colosseum is the only "attraction" of note along the route, the only real benefit of the night tour is being able to go by it with the lights on. Finally, we bought the 3-day pass. We were in a hurry to get to the Pantheon for Sunday church service. In our rush, my wife forgot her ticket and our daughter's ticket. Our ticket was only good for a few more hours and if we had to go back to get it, we would have been late. They graciously let us on when I provided mine and explained what happened.
If you are visiting Rome for only a couple of days, this is a must. You get to see all the famous attractions. I would recommend getting the 9am bus from the termini and doing the whole circle. Stay on the bus and get off at the Vatican for the 12noon walking tours. We managed to do 3 of the 4 walking tours which were all excellent
It was convenient to get around to the major sites of Rome. The bus was clean and the people were helpful. I was disappointed that we did not have a live guided tour, it was all pre-recorded. Also noticed that some buses rotated more frequently between bus stations. Overall it was a good way to get around the city.
Well worth the money, got deluxe ticket so three days and night tour included. Saved our feet several times. Went on a round trip when we first arrived to try and get an idea on surroundings. Staff friendly and helpful and covered all the main areas.
A great way to see Rome. Reliable service available around the city's major sites. Hop off, visit then every 10-15 minutes another bus arrives. Information through ear piece of Rome and sites.
