It was a very humid hot day, but our slow d the pace and gave plenty of options to rest. The tour was informative. The only drawback was having to wait so long for lunch. You go to a restaurant, stand around to order Then get back on bus to get to cruise departure. This was a waste of time. There is an option to preorder you food online, which we did, but it made no difference. Still had to get through all the motions. Other than is “glitch” the tour was great. Enjoyed spending the day with Nick
Our tour was me, my coworker and another couple. This made our tour close to a private tour and our guide walked with us and gave us so many fun facts along the way. I was blown away by how much our guide knew, how many years she has been a guide and the amount of time she's spent in D.C. This tour was definitely worth the money and I am glad I picked this one from all the other tours offered,
This tour was one of the best experiences I had while on the East coast. Our tour guide, Sally, was EXTREMELY knowledgable and made the tour so interesting and fun. Without her, my dad and I would have been wandering aimlessly around D.C., trying to figure where to go and how to get there and what the historical significance of each place was.
I’m 61 and this was my 3rd Segway tour. It’s essy to do. I only had a limited time to see the sites. This was fun and the most effective way to cover my exterior list then chose which museums I wanted for the rest of my time. Well worth the money. Chris was a good guide.
As for January (and even with the government shutdown) it was very good trip. A lot of interesting places and facts served with humor by Christopher (the guide). I'm glad I took that tour as doing that on my own probably will not give me so nice experience.
