Well thought out tour that educates and entertains travelers

This tour includes multiple stops that allow travelers to see the area where champagne started (both the land and historic sites related to people credited for founding the champagne method) and to tour cellars of current producers. Of course, the tastings were wonderful as well. The cellars we toured were amazing and made us appreciate the effort and time that goes into producing this lovely libation. It was nice to see the scenic hillsides where the grapes grow and then to follow the process all the way to the consumption phase. The only thing that would have made this better is the addition of a 3rd stop for a tour and tasting. For the trip to be 7 hours, only touring 2 places seemed incomplete. The stop in a cute town square (Epernay) with several lunch options was nice for being able to walk a bit and shop in some of the local wine stores. Our guide, Raffie, was very friendly and knowledgeable. He kept us right on schedule and there were no issues at any of our stops. Cheers!

Fabulous trip, superb guide. Far exceeded expectations!

We booked this at the last minute due to being delayed in France for a day. We lucked out ending up in a small group (just 4 of us) and a fantastic guide, Susanne. The tour of the Taittinger cellars was incredible - so interesting, fascinating detail about the history of the caves and their relevance to the history of Reims, as well as about the production of champagne, the Taittinger house and history. The mini tour of Reims was a great intro to the city as well, and our guide was able to bring it to life for us. Her knowledge of both viticulture, champagne, Reims and the region was excellent - when we asked questions we were often given amazing little snippets of history or local culture which made the trip feel so special. We then visited a very small local house: the contrast was stunning and really brought home to us just how much hard work and time goes into any bottle of champagne. We loved our tasting in the small house; it was so relaxed and personal. Highly recommended.

Great Tour, Great Guide and well worth the cost...

This was a wonderful tour. Our Guide "Rafael" was friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Our trip to Moet & Chandel was nice but they make you feel like they are doing you a favor by giving you the tour. We then had time to ourselves for lunch and Rafael had lots of suggestions for us to choose. We then went to Tattinger which I have to say was so interesting and definitely nothing like M&C. They were extremely friendly and welcoming and the addition of the champagne caves being part of the abbey was incredible!!!! This tour was well worth the price!!!

Excellent way to see the heart ofCampagne country.

I liked this tour because it showed all the important aspects of the champagne area, including the small town and origins of champagne in relation to Dom Perignon, a vineyard, Tattinger tour and tasting, Moët and Chandon tour and tasting, and the Champagne Grand Avenue in Epernay. The guide, Marie, was very knowledgeable and friendly. Lunch was on our own, but easy to obtain, and not expensive in Epernay.

Laura very informative tour guide, champange houses great.

Laura was very friendly & informative, we had great fun with our group. Champange houses beautiful & very interesting, tastings were wonderful. Taitinger was our favourite, the guide there was extremely polished with his delivery. Although it was raining it didn't spoil the day or dampen our spirits.
