Our stops were wonderful, but our guide (Oliver) really made the trip. He was pleasant, courteous, had very good english, and really knew his history. We very much enjoyed the lesson of the Alsace region, the history behind the towns and vineyards, and of course there was the castle... We will do another tour (probably wine-tasting) with your firm next time!
This tour provides a good overview of the Alsatian countryside, some very old but still active villages, and the opportunity to have personal conversation with people whose families have been in the wine-production business for several generations. The guide was a very knowledgeable local who provided a lot of interesting information about the region.
Took a chance on this tour and loved it. The van gets a little crowded with 8 adults but you're not in the car for a crazy amount of time. Florence (Flo) was a great tour guide, friendly and informative. We really liked the 2 winemakers/wineries we got to visit. Would do again. Thank you Flo!
We liked the way Florence explained the history and the places... The tour that was covered in the trip of one day is real worth and we enjoyed all, starting with the drive and the walks and the wine and the whole thing...
Our guide, Pauline, went out of her way to make our day special and fun, and taught us a lot about the wines of the region. Of the several excursions we planned for this trip, the wine tour was definitely our favorite!
