A boat tour along the spree will help you see this wonderfully painted remainder of the Berlin Wall while missing the crowds.
You can pass under this wonderful bridge from the water, and enjoy its fine architecture, as well as riverside views of the lush Tiergarten.
Located in the Tiergarten, this palace has been the residence of the president of Germany since 1994. If you can see the presidential flag flying then you know the president is in residence.

What people are saying about Spree River
We booked this your as a group of 6 people, our host and tour guide Leah was very knowledgeable about the area, explaining the local cultural aspects of the urban art scene, we saw a side to Berlin that we would never have seen without booking such a tour. Highly recommend!
We got lucky with our Tour and Tour Guide Carlos. We were able to take our time and he pointed out so many things that we had seen before but didn't know the history behind it. 3 Hours may not sound like a lot but you are definitely beat afterwards.
The ride gave us a different view of Berlin. We got to ride through streets with beautiful street art, the anti social areas and the offbeat places of Berlin. The guide was very informative and briefed us about the history of each place.
Well, couldn't use museums due to the Coronavirus issue. But did use the card for transit- on the U, S, and R trains. Much better than being on a cocoon-like tourist bus, as it gave insight on real-life in Berlin and its people.
We booked a private tour for 14 people. All the communication ahead of the tour was excellent. The tour itself was fun and informative with good quality bikes and our tour guide Charlotte was brilliant.
