What people are saying about Sorrento

Absolutely fantastic and a MUST DO......

WOW what a day my niece & I had. Hotel pickup, check!! Arrive at huge farm house/lemon grove, Check! Offered refreshments on arrival, check! Small group of just 4 - PERFECT! Walk through the lemon grove while listening to the family history of living, working the farm/lemon grove & the story of the famous Limoncello. Check! Time for tastings of lemon marmalade & orange marmalade - to die for!! Next up olive oil tasting/dipping, lemon olive oil, orange oil & original olive oil. YUMM! Onto the cheese, smoked cheese, provolone, freshly made ricotta made before our eyes, glorious mozzarella coupled with a delicious homemade red wine. Pizza restaurant, learn to make your own dough from scratch at home. We flatten out our dough, flipped them around in the air (mine landed on the floor but a heap of laughs were had). Add your own toppings, into the oven & 2 mins later, PRESTO, PIZZA!! Followed by Limoncello demo/tasting. Perfect way to finish what was truly a perfect day!!!

The absolute highlight of our time in Sorrento! A Must Do!

Our food tasting tour was the best part of our visit to Sorrento. A driver picks you up and takes you to this little town where you are met by a very fun tour guide Klaudia. The tour is exactly as it is portrayed on the website. Except even better when you actually meet and get to know the people who are putting on this tour. These people are real people and they are so excited to show you their "real" life. The tour of this little town will show you what life is really like as a farmer in the Sorrento area. I cannot say enough about all of the people we met, the food we tried, and the information and knowledge they provided. Our guide Klaudia was awesome. She was so much fun and genuinely made the experience that much better. We have recommended to all of our friends traveling to this area. Would definitely do it again just to see everyone. I would tell you about all of the other people, but I don't want to mis-spell their names. :)

Fab day trip. Well worth it to visit Amalfi coast towns in a day.

Collected from our hotel at the time stated. There were 6 people on the minivan tour plus the driver. Air con was a godsend. We had an hour to visit each of Positano, Amalfi and Ravello, plus lunch was included at a hotel/villa in Ravello. The driver/guide was very knowledgeable and we felt safe when he was driving on the very narrow, winding, busy Amalfi coast road. It was long enough to have a snapshot visit of each place, as it was so hot and humid we were glad to get back on the van to the aircon. We had enough time to visit Amalfi cathedral at additional charge and Villa Ruffelo in Ravello. Each place was beautiful in its own right and the scenery en route is simply stunning. Well worth it.

One of the best days we have had in Italy

I cannot say enough about the warmth and hospitality we received on this well run, informative, and most importantly FUN adventure. The itinerary is completely as advertised and more. What a list of great activities cannot convey is the humor and charisma of everyone involved - and this is an extensive cast of characters dedicated to making sure you are having a great time. This includes the cats, cows, and chickens! Our guide Claudia was so engaging and made the day bright and filled with great information and anecdotes. I would do this again and will recommend it to all my friends and family.

was very nice. Lino & Marie were very kind and welcoming

It was a little bit difficult to find the house but the hosts were available on whatsaap. we also didnt cook as much as we thought we would but they showed and axplained what they were cooking, gave us recepies and the food was delicous. we toured around the farm and ate fruit straight from the tree. Had a lot of wine and food and they even helped us with complications we had with our hotel. Very nice people. highly reccomended.
