What people are saying about Sharjah
An enjoyable half day tour of Dubai city. A well organised tour and very nice guide who managed to keep track of everyone on the tour. He spoke good English and German. It was a very hot day but the bus had great air conditioning. We had enough time at all the stops per itinerary. The bus is unable to go close to the Burg al Arab so it was a bit hot to walk all the way but still able to take a photo from the distance. I thought the Fort museum was great. His Royal Highness’s Palace was great to see also. The Abra ride to the Souks was fun. The souks were as expected a lot of annoying people trying to sell you their gold and spices. It just puts me off looking and perhaps buying. But all the same good to experience it. I thought it was fabulous value and took the hassle out of trying to visit in the heat by ourselves. I would therefore definitely recommend this tour!!
I came to Dubai with a friend only for 2 days on a stop over and wanted to see as much as possible whilst there. This tour was fab for that & well worth the money. 1 complaint would be that I had to call from England to book the pick up time (despite the hotel being known)which cost a considerable amount in comparison to the tour!! One tip though is DO NOT go by the timings either. Tour states that it is 4 hrs so we booked despite needing to be at the airport that night as we allowed 4 hrs plus pleanty of pick up/drop off time but still had to book a taxi back to the hotel by ourselves. We weren't the only ones to have to get a taxi back. I would definitely recommend the tour but just be aware of the above.
I enjoyed my half day city tour of Dubai and found it to be an excellent value for the price paid. This tour is perfect for those seeking a quick overview of the city, before returning on your own time for further exploration. I was one of 10 total people on the tour and did not encounter the long waits or pick up frustrations that other reviewers expressed. However, in a much larger group I could definitely see how this could be a problem.
What a great trip so much fitted in and driver was so skilled. Thought we would die but writing this now so clearly survived. I am not good with motion sickness but just got a slight headache which is good for me. The desert was strange and enchanting. Looked like a baked Alaska. Photos of a lifetime. Don’t eat before you go haha.
Tour guide was funny and informative and made sure everyone in the group was accounted for at all times. The stops were good and not too long apart from maybe the last at the gold sooks. Very easy got picked up and dropped off at the hotel no bother. Would recommend for first timers to dubia
