What People Are Saying About Santorini
I was apprehensive to book this cruise, because I usually like to stay away from large tours, but you must book this cruise! The ship is large, and people spread out when they sit down. Our guide fluently spoke 3 languages, which was impressive! I usually avoid multi-lingual tours, but our guide was so knowledgeable and handled it so well by having each language group move around independently. The boat was great, the staff were lovely and the cruise moved like clockwork. The scenery is magical, and everything about this is great for couples, families, friends, everyone! Highly recommend this activity for your stop in Santorini. Also, the bus pick up was so convenient, and they even dropped us off at Santo Winery on the way home instead of our bus stop, which was so convenient.
I went with 3 of my friends and this was one of the first things we planned for. We had the best time and Angelo was great! He was very knowledgeable but also very funny making it even better.
Olaf exceed expectation with his knowledge of Santorini and his ability to help us with our photography. He was great!!
Lots of positive feedback - this trip was well organised, the hotel transfers were efficient, and the staff on the catamaran were super friendly, posses an expert level English and worked really hard to ensure everyone on board had a good experience. A few opportunities for swimming in the sea and plenty of help for those who weren't so confident in the water. Clean, lovely boat, beautiful views of the island and a gorgeous sunset view at the end. Just a few points to note - the BBQ was delicious, though earlier than we expected. You could eat a late breakfast then have the BBQ on board (don't have a big lunch before the pick up as we did!). - If you're travelling with an elderly relative as I was, you may want to inquire into getting a buggy ride or similar to the boat location from the gathering point, as there was a few minutes of walking involved between. - The thermal springs aren't hot ;) Interesting place nonetheless! All in all, a great trip and would certainly recommend!
Look, I get it; people normally just want to know about a wine tour for the wine, right? (And the wine was amazing.) But here's the thing: the tour guide can make or break the experience. Angelo was the best tour guide we've ever had. Period. Not only did he give us the history behind the different wines and the island, but he's the first person that ever made wine pairings make sense to us. Whether you're a complete beginner just looking to taste some wine around the island or a professional taster looking for that perfect bottle, this trip will not disappoint you. We had an amazing time, met some amazing people and had some of the best wine of our lives. What's not to love? Do yourself a favor and work this into your time in Santorini if you can. You'll see a lot of the island, learn some history and share some drinks with some new friends. And if you're lucky, Angelo might even tell you some of his jokes. Yamas!
