Full description
Begin the tour with hotel pickup in San Carlos de Bariloche. The transfer to the river is a tour in itself; get to know the Gutiérrez, Mascardi, and Guillelmo lakes as you cruise down National Route 40. After a 40-mile trip, arrive to the River Villegas, located in the Comunidad de El Manso. Upon arriving, you’ll find the valley where the campsite La Pasarela is located, the base of operations for the rafting company.

Upon arrival to the campsite, breakfast will be served. Afterwards, get kitted out in neoprene clothes, boots, jackets, life vests, and grab your paddles and helmets. Before hitting the rapids, an instructional safety briefing will take place, in which the art of rowing and the proper safety regulations will be explained.

The rafting activity has a length of 7.5 miles and maintains a high intensity and promises many exciting moments. With nine rapids and several tides, the adventure will provide total éxtasis (ecstasy and the name of one of the rapids). Eventually, reach the border of Chile where you'll have a chance to dry off and dress in the clothes you brought with.

Hop back aboard the same shuttle you arrived in and head back to the camp. Have lunch in the restaurant, stroll along the banks of the Manso River and into the cold forest Selva Valdiviana, or just chill out until it's time to return to your hotel.
