See Rome through the eyes of the award-winning film director Paolo Sorrentino, and visit sites used in his acclaimed movie, “La Grande Belleza” ("The Great Beauty"). Traveling by electric bike, see more than on a walking tour, and give your legs a rest as you travel up 3 of Rome’s 7 hills! Departing from near the Colosseum, bike in the middle of the Roman Forum area and drive up the Campidoglio for views of the Roman Forum and Michelangelo's Campidoglio Square. Continue into the narrow streets of the Jewish Quarter and learn about one of the oldest ghettos in Europe. Marvel at the Portico d'Ottavia and Turtles Fountain, and travel along the Largo di Torre Argentina, a paradise for Roman cats! Have a look at Bernini’s Four Rivers Fountain and the Church of St. Agnese on Piazza Navona, cruise over to the Castel Sant'Angelo and St. Peter’s Basilica in no time. Along the way, your guide will point out buildings and locations from “The Great Beauty,” such as Il Palazzaccio, the Roman Constitutional Court. Go up Gianicolo Hill to see one of the most beautiful fountains in Rome, and one of the best panoramic views from in front of the Bambino Gesù Childrens Hospital. Set your watch by the noon cannon fire at the Garibaldi Monument. Descend to the Tiber River, before cruising up Aventino Hill to Giardino Degli Aranci (Orange Garden). Here, visit the beautiful paleochristian church of Santa Sabina, and get a surprise view through the "Keyhole" of the Cavalieri di Malta. Return to the starting point after a look at the Circo Massimo and the Emperors Palaces on the Palatine Hill.

Thanks to Caterina, our guide, for showing us places in Rome that we didn't know, for giving us information we didn't know about places we knew and for sharing her passion for Rome with us. Thank you for his kindness and his smile, his kindness and his good humor. I was a little worried about the distance and the 4 hours of the tour not being sporty, but with the electric bikes, everything went perfectly. To do without hesitation for the pleasure and the beauty of Rome. A mention also to Anna for her welcome on departure and return.
