What people are saying about Ripley's Aquarium of Canada
We purchased express, skip the line, anytime entry tickets and went in the early evening, so it was relatively uncrowded. It was not as big as the Monterey Bay Aquarium, but extremely well-done and perhaps only second to MBA. The displays were outstanding and visually very gratifying. The number of species of sharks, rays and other fish was outstanding. Some of the largest specimens I have ever seen anywhere. Very worthwhile excursion and a MUST SEE on your visit to Toronto. Have dinner at the 360 Restaurant at the CN Tower adjacent to the aquarium.
We are not young, our kids are adults and have moved away, but we enjoyed every minute. There was so much to see. My favourite part was the moving walkway where we enjoyed watching the fish, the sharks and the turtles swimming over and all around us. There were plenty of places to sit and rest throughout but the seats weren't out of the way. We could still see various tanks and events when sitting. I loved every minute of my visit.
The whole experience was very good, I came with my granddaughter 6 and our Little Sister 9. They both had a fantastic time. We had not been before but after speaking to our older friends we definitely will be returning. So we can enjoy the the experience without having to worry about our girls.
Will return at a later hour next time when less children and less noise. Other than that it was great. We had an Autistic child with a service dog. Treated very well, ushered in by one of your staff.. amazed at the technology behind it all...great seeing the machinery
Ripley's Aquarium is an amazing place. I've been there several times and I just can't get enough. I will continue visiting Ripley's Aquarium. However, I had hard time to understand the speaker at the sting ray session; the p.a. system needs improvement.
