What people are saying about Raphael Rooms
The Sistine Chapel was amazing but we needed more time for the Vatican Museum. The ticket was brilliant as we entered straight away, there was a huge queue of people waiting in the heat to get in. We got the audio guide which really helped us understand what we were seeing. Guided tours need to be booked in advance so it would be worthwhile booking if you wanted one. Great ticket and well worth the money.
It was a quick tour-she went through some things quickly, but it was advertised as a short tour. Very interesting. Fantastic guide. I wish I could remember her name. She had short blond hair, was prob around 50 years of age, and was able to answer all questions. Even one about how the building was reinforced by pillars in the canal floor.
Save so much time booking on a tour as you save yourself hours of queuing! The tour itself is absolute fantastic! We had Patrice and his knowledge and enthusiasm made the tour amazing. The Vatican is huge so having someone that know the most important things to highlight and talk about was invaluable . Highly recommend
The tour was brilliant. Jessica was very knowledgable and very considerate of the people in our group. Some of the specs get very busy even early in the morning, but Jessica was very good at judging when to move from one room to the next so it never felt cramped or rushed.
You don’t have to wait in the massive queue. You go through a different gate and scan the barcode they send you to get the actual ticket. It’s essentially getting you in much quicker. I enjoyed the Vatican museum more than I expected on the way to see the Sistene Chapel.
