Full description
Discover the best of Patagonian cuisine on this tour. Begin your tour in the historical center of Punta Arenas, the place where it all began. Learn about the history of the city as you make your way to the first stop of the day, which is perfect if you’ve not had breakfast yet. Choriqueso and banana milk is the breakfast of choice for local Patagonians and you’ll see why as you taste them both at a favourite local spot.

After filling up with a traditional breakfast, walk it off with a gentle stroll along the coast, admiring spectacular sea views. Make sure you keep an eye open for dolphins and albatross. Pass by some beautiful street art murals and stop to take plenty of photos before continuing your walk to one of the most beautiful cemeteries in the world. Here, your guide will introduce you to some of the residents and give you plenty of time to explore this peaceful hidden gem.

Next, head back to the city center. Along the way, stop to visit the viewpoint on La Cruz Hill to enjoy fabulous views across the colorful city of Punta Arenas with the Strait of Magellan as a backdrop. End your tour with even more delicious local food, this time from the seafood market where quality handicrafts and mouth-watering street food go hand in hand. Here, try the best king crab empanada and Calafate sour cocktail of your life. Before you go, don’t forget to ask your local guide for more tips on what else to see, do and eat during your stay.
