Beautiful cruise, but some info would have been nice

It was wonderful cruising out of the Barcelona harbour into the ocean. Being able to order a glass of Prosecco made it seem even more decadent. I was grateful we did not have to listen to a tour guide the entire time. However, having read "discover the most important sites of the city from a unique perspective" in the description, I had thought someone would be pointing those sites out to us. We booked the cruise our first night in Barcelona, hoping for some general information on city sites, which we could use in the following days. There was not one word spoken to us from the crew, which made for an extremely relaxing cruise, which we thoroughly enjoyed. But people should be aware that it is definitely a cruise only, not a sight-seeing tour. :-)

Barcelona: 1.5-Hour Sunset Wooden Boat Tour Reviewed by

Super value and my daughter loved it! Lots to see!!

My daughter and I went for a day out to the aquarium and we were thrilled to walk round the aquariums and see the local fish and octopus but also the most beautiful specimens of sharks and Adeline is a real enthusiast so she was showing me all the different types. There is a very impressive walk through a large aquarium full of Sea rays, sharks etc , you name it it was there! The restaurant also sells very tasty food and there is a Spanish section where we had the tastiest paella . The aquarium shop is brilliant almost too good as I spent a fortune on T-shirts soft toys knickknacks and lots of presents for the family so all in all a great day out.

Worth a visit, well set up, but can be crowded

Definitely book in advance and skip the queue. Once in there is series of fish tanks with a great array of different fish. It was crowded when we visited making it difficult to see and you need to jostle a bit. The main tank is great with a clever conveyor belt to stand on so everyone gets a fair turn viewing. Need just about one to one and half hours. Skip the cafeteria nothing special there. Gift shop is just throw away toys (shame).

Great aquarium with great species to observe

Barcelona aquarium was worth visiting. Lot's of different species including octopus (first time seeing them) and rays (my beloved ones). The place is really crowded but everyone has a chance to have a close look at any particular aquarium. For those who are planning the visit, save your time by buying an eticket. The lines are very long and daunting.

Absolutely amazing experience for all of us. Nice and relaxing.

As soon as we got a small distance from the port, Eduado gave me the steering wheel and let me take it out to sea and back. He showed different techniques and asked us questions we all found it relaxing and calm. The most important thing was that we all had laughs and wide smiles on our faces thank you Eduado from captain Thomas /Tom
